Groups & Workshops
for Musicians and Music Educators

Build skills, confidence, and community in a supportive coaching environment.

These group experiences are designed for musicians and music educators nationwide who want to strengthen their mental skills, build confidence, reconnect with joy in their work both on and off the stage.

Each group blends evidence-based tools from performance psychology and coaching with the connection and encouragement that come from shared experiences.

Note: These are educational and coaching-based experiences, not therapy groups.

Current Offerings

  • Performance Anxiety Skills Group

    Masterclass-style Group Coaching

Available to collegiate, pre-professional, and professional musicians

You can play it fluidly alone, but the moment someone else is in the room, everything feels different. Your hands tighten, your breath shortens, and the ease you have practiced seems out of reach, like you’re suddenly playing through a fog.

This small group helps you explore why that happens and develop the tools to bring the ease and confidence of the practice room onto the stage.

    You’ll learn to:
    • Understand your unique stress patterns
    • Build effective pre-performance routines
    • Use grounding, breathing, and focus techniques
    • Reconnect with the joy of performing

    Format:
    8-week program includes
    6 x 60 minute group sessions
    2 x 30 minute individual sessions
All sessions meet virtually via secure video platform.

    Music Educator Support Group

For current and early-career music educators

Whether you’re in your first few years of teaching or well into your career, the demands of music education can be relentless - lesson planning, rehearsals, concerts, grading, and caring deeply for every student. Over time, even the most dedicated teachers can start to feel stretched thin or find it harder to stay connected to the joy that first inspired them to teach.

This group offers a reflective, supportive space to process those challenges, reconnect with your musical identity, and build sustainable practices that keep you healthy and motivated throughout the school year.

    You’ll explore:
    • Managing chronic stress
    • Work-life boundaries
    • Balancing artistry and teaching
    • Tools for emotional regulation and resilience
    • Preventing burnout and protecting your energy
    • Rediscovering fulfillment and joy in and out of the classroom

    Format:
    Weekly 60 minute group sessions
    Minimum 4-week commitment.
All sessions meet virtually via secure video platform.

  • Musician's Perinatal Support Group

For musicians and music educators navigating pregnancy or early parenthood

Becoming a parent can bring profound joy (and unexpected challenges) especially when your identity and livelihood are rooted in music. Balancing creativity, career, and care-giving can feel isolating and overwhelming.

This group offers a gentle, supportive space to share experiences, receive validation, and explore how to stay connected to your musical self through the changing rhythms of pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood.

    We’ll discuss:
    • Identity shifts and creative motivation
    • Managing performance demands during pregnancy/postpartum
    • Building realistic self-care and recovery routines
    • Navigating balance between artistry, teaching, and family life
    • Connecting with a supportive musical community

    Format:
    Weekly 60 minute group sessions
    Minimum 4-week commitment.
All sessions meet virtually via secure video platform.
